Please reach me at fee@felicitybillenphotography.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Please email me fee@felicitybillenphotography.com & we can get the ball rolling !
I'll send you a secure link via Square to secure your chosen date in my diary. A week before the session, I'll send you another link to pay the balance online. It's quick, & simple & you don't need to sign up to yet another account.
Yes, your £150 session fee secures the date, & the remaining balance can be split into monthly payments at no extra cost.
It's all set up automatically through Square, it's easy with no fuss.
I will email you an online Gallery through Pixieset. This first one is for you to choose your favourites from, (the package you chose to book will determine how many.) Once selected I'll send you the finished fully edited gallery for you to download & keep your photos.
When you book, I block out your date in my diary and begin planning you session straight away. That means turning away other work for that time. The fee also covers my prep, travel & admin before your shoot & the professional editing and gallery curation after it. For all those reasons, the session fee is non-refundable. But if something unexpected comes up, I will always try & reschedule with you.
Your Commercial Licence covers using your photos to promote your own Business — think Website, Social Media, Press Features, Printed marketing, & so on. What it doesn't cover is selling the images themselves, giving them to 3rd parties for their own use, or re-editing them. If you're ever unsure — just ask, I'll happily advise or provide an extended licence if you need one.
Usually anywhere from 45 minutes to 4 hours, depending on what session has been booked and how comfortable everyone is.
I'm not the type to set a Timer and if the light is good and everyone is still happy I'm not going to end the session prematurely. But neither will I prolong things if I can tell you've had enough.
My turnaround time for editing is usually pretty swift. You can certainly expect to get your online gallery within 7 days.
That decision is entirely yours, I'll take my lead from you. We can definitely chat about it and work out what works best for you. My best tip would be somewhere you feel your most comfortable.( ie: in your studio if you're an artist, or a favourite spot or cafe) I certainly have some good Location ideas, so if you're stuck, get in touch.
The subscription invoice will be sent via Square every month, which keeps things nice and simple.
And as soon as you subscribe! We'll get your first quarterly session on the calendar immediately so you can start receiving your content. But please bear in mind, there is a minimum term of 12 months. See below.
To keep your monthly investment at £95, we spread the cost of your brand sessions across the year. We ask for an initial 12-month commitment so I can truly become your business cheerleader, stepping in every season to update your gallery and keep your story feeling fresh. This allows us to plan ahead and capture your brand's evolution in real-time, moving to a flexible rolling agreement after the first year. It’s consistent, high-end content without the scary upfront price tag
Absolutely. We aim for quarterly, but if you need to push a shoot back by a few weeks, we are flexible. Your credits don't expire as long as your subscription is active.
I usually get in touch with Clients a few days before our session to sort out the final details, so we can discuss a way forward then. The weather can make a huge difference to the finished photos so it's something to consider. I'm always happy to embrace Raincoats & Wellies, but if you're happier postponing or taking it indoors then no problem.
Please don't worry, just let me know & we'll rearrange the session. If it's me that's unwell, we can hopefully rearrange, or you'll get a Refund.
If you want to add some more Traditional Posed Photos to your session, then we definitely can, but my style is usually more natural. I'm happier catching photos of you in action. Candid shots feel more true to life. Plus I think it helps if you're a bit wary of being in front of the camera if the Photographer isn't very obtrusive. But I can also offer some gentle guidance if you're a bit nervous though.
The easy answer is natural & relaxed. I'm drawn to quiet moments, gentle light and honest details. I try to be calm & unobtrusive, letting the moments unfold naturally. My editing is soft and filmlike.
Anywhere within a 20 mile radius of Crediton EX17 6NH will incur no extra charge. (this covers a fair bit of Devon)
If you're further afield then please get in touch and we can chat about it.
Your paid session fee secures a date with me, if the chosen date is no longer suitable ( I get it, life happens) then please get in touch and we can arrange a better date & time
I totally understand the curiosity ! But I don't share the RAW or unedited files. and here's why.
RAW files are large, unprocessed image data straight from the camera...like the ingredients before the recipe.
The final photos you receive are carefully edited in my signature style, with the light, tone and colour balanced to reflect the feeling and story of your session.
It's a bit like hiring a writer and asking for their notes instead of the finished story. Part of why clients choose me is for the soft, slightly filmic aesthetic I bring to the final images, so rest assured, I'll deliver a gallery full of thoughtful, fully edited moments ready to be treasured.
Yes, your final gallery comes with full resolution files you can download, print and share for personal use. But there may be an option to have them printed professionally on your Pixieset gallery. The copyright stays with me as the photographer, so I do ask that you please don't re-edit or crop the photos without checking in with me first. That way your photos still look their best.
Yes, my professional portrait sessions include a commercial licence, so you can use your images across your website, social media, press features and printed materials. The Copyright remains with me as the photographer, so I just ask you don't re-edit or apply other filters/presets to the images. If you ever need a different crop, or size for a specific platform, just let me know & I can help.
Every two weeks I share an update from behind the lens: featuring the creative people building Devon brands, tips on feeling genuinely yourself in front of the camera and a look at what's happening from my desk and across the county.
It's a space to feel inspired and supported in your own business journey, with no pressure and no hard sells.
